Conway Regional Gastroenterology Center Welcomes New Provider

CONWAY  – Conway Regional Health System is proud to announce the addition of Neelima Rao, MD, gastroenterologist, to the team at the Conway Regional Gastroenterology Center. Dr. Rao joins Martin Moix, MD, and is now accepting new patients.

“As our community continues to grow, so does the need for expanded access to high-quality specialty services close to home,” said Rebekah Fincher, Chief Administrative Officer of Conway Regional Health System. “The addition of Dr. Rao reflects our commitment to thoughtfully building programs that meet the evolving needs of central Arkansas. By strengthening our gastroenterology team and investing in proven technologies that support our physicians, we are improving timely access to care and enhancing outcomes for the patients and families we serve.”

The Conway Regional Gastroenterology Center provides comprehensive specialty care for conditions of the digestive system, supported by a highly trained clinical team and advanced diagnostic capabilities. The center utilizes leading-edge tools, including enhanced imaging technology during colonoscopies, to help physicians identify concerns earlier and with greater accuracy.

Dr. Rao brings more than a decade of experience in gastroenterology, having served patients since 2014 at CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2009, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology in 2014. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Rao has a strong background in medical education, serving as adjunct faculty at Unity Health and teaching internal medicine residents at the Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System.
