LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas Heart Hospital anounces a new partnership with Dr. Samuel Bledsoe, a board-certified bariatric surgeon who will lead their Bariatric and Metabolic Institute. He began seeing patients January 4.

Before joining Arkansas Heart Hospital, Dr. Bledsoe served as the Medical Director for Bariatric Surgery at Christus Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana where he completed more than a thousand successful bariatric surgeries. He served in several other leadership positions at his hospital including the Section Chief of Surgery and the Medical Executive Committee. He has also authored many journal articles and book chapters in the field of bariatric and laparoscopic surgery.
