The Arkansas Medical Society is honored to be a double winner in 2025 of the prestigious ASAE* Awards for Excellence in Communications. AMS received the “single piece” award for the 150th Commemorative Magazine, and the “overall campaign” award for the body of work associated with the 150th Anniversary Celebration. The awards were presented at the ASAE 2025 Annual Convention held on July 14-15.
AMS Director of Operations Mary Ann Mansfield and AMS Communications and Membership Specialist Casey Penn were honored to accept this award on behalf of AMS leadership, staff, and other dedicated supporters of the Society's 150th Anniversary Event and the AMS 150th Anniversary Commemorative Magazine.
*The Arkansas Society of Association Executives (ASAE) was formed in January 1978, to bring together people with common interests concerning Arkansas associations and their activities. The organization has grown to more than 160 regular members representing more than 140 associations. In addition, there are more than 115 associate members who represent hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other firms that provide products and services to associations.The ASAE Excellence in Communications award recipients represent the best of the best in association and nonprofit communications. The winning entries reflect exceptional planning, flawless execution, and thoughtful evaluation.

New Laws: What They Mean for Your Practice
Legislation passed during the meeting of the 2025 Arkansas General Assembly will directly impact how you practice medicine and care for your patients.
