JONESBORO — Ronald McDonald House Charities ® of Memphis is excited to announce its expansion into Jonesboro, Arkansas, in partnership with St. Bernards Healthcare, Hunt Properties, and Hyatt Place Hotels. This collaboration will bring much-needed support to families with critically ill children receiving medical care in the region.

For over 34 years, RMHC-Memphis has provided a “home away from home” to families who have children receiving treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. By extending the mission of keeping children near the care they need with the family they love to Jonesboro, even more families in need will have a place of comfort, care, and community close to their child’s medical treatment.

“We are thrilled to partner with St. Bernards Healthcare and Hunt Properties to bring the mission of RMHC to Northeast Arkansas,” said Jill Crocker, RMHC-Memphis Executive Director. “This expansion allows us to further our commitment to family-centered care, and enhance the support we provide to patients and their families during difficult times.”

While specific details about the expansion, including the location and construction timeline, are still being developed, RMHC-Memphis is dedicated to creating a space where families can find the respite and resources they need. As plans progress, updates will be shared with the Jonesboro community.

Additionally, RMHC-Memphis is currently anticipating the expansion of its mission into Jackson, TN. The forthcoming Ronald McDonald House of Memphis in Jackson, TN, will provide support for up to 20 families and will be located in a Hyatt Place Hotel, which is currently under construction and will open its doors in 2025. The planned expansion into Jonesboro will follow a similar model.
