Urologic Reconstruction Specialist Brian Langford, M.D., Joins UAMS Department of Surgery

LITTLE ROCK — Brian Langford, M.D., who specializes in urologic reconstruction, joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Department of Surgery as an assistant professor in the Division of Trauma.

Langford received his medical degree from UAMS, where he also completed a general surgery internship and urology residency. He received advanced training in urologic trauma, reconstruction and prosthetics through a fellowship at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

His clinical interests include the surgical management of Peyronie’s disease, male stress incontinence, erectile dysfunction, urethral stricture, upper tract reconstruction and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

“We are thrilled with the addition of Dr. Brian Langford to the UAMS Department of Surgery,” said Ronald Robertson, M.D., chair of the department. “His training and expertise will bring new opportunities for patients needing urologic reconstruction.”
