Arkansas Children's Hospital Welcomes Two New Otolaryngologists

LITTLE ROCK - Arkansas Children's Hospital Otolaryngology Department welcomes Adam Johnson MD, PhD, and Andre M. Wineland, MD, both as assistant professors of pediatric otolaryngology.

Dr. Johnson received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Old Dominion University and later attended Texas A&M University Health Science Center to complete his PhD in Neuroscience. He then attended medical school at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Dr. Johnson completed his residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery at the University of Oklahoma and has also completed a two-year Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship at Arkansas Children's Hospital.


Andre M. Wineland, MD

Dr. Wineland graduated with distinction from Hendrix College in 2004. He then attended medical school at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) where he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated with Honors in Research in 2008. He completed his Otolaryngology residency at Washington University in St. Louis/Barnes Jewish Hospital. During residency, he completed a Masters in Clinical Investigation at Washington University with a focus of Otolaryngology clinical outcomes. After his seven years of residency training, Dr. Wineland completed a two-year Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
