McDaniel Named VP of Physician Services

FORT SMITH - Yasmene McDaniel, MBA, MHA, has been named Vice President of Physician Services of Sparks Clinic.

In this role, McDaniel will oversee all clinic operations and administration, including areas such as patient experience and physician satisfaction. She will work closely with physicians to develop a strategic plan for each Sparks Clinic location in Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Prior to joining Sparks Health System, McDaniel served as the Associate Vice President of Program Development and Physician Services at Jackson Health System in Miami, Fla. McDaniel has more than 15 years of healthcare experience and specializes in growth, development and engagement of clinical and support staff.

McDaniel earned a Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration from Texas Women's University in Denton. While earning a Bachelor of Science at Baylor University in Waco, she was a shooting guard for the Baylor Bears women's basketball team.

McDaniel has a 2-year-old son and enjoys traveling, learning about new cultures and spending time with family.

Sparks Health System includes Sparks Regional Medical Center, Sparks Medical Center - Van Buren, Sparks Clinic, Sparks PremierCare and the fully hospital-integrated Marvin Altman Fitness Center.
