FAYETTEVILLE - We are proud to have five new physicians join MANA in August, Dr. Jordan Powers, Dr. Hannah Blanton, and Dr. Mary Massary, Dr. Barrett Burger, and Dr. Ryan James.
Dr. Powers brings a strong foundation of experience and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. Prior to joining Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic, she served as an internal medicine physician in Huntsville, Arkansas, and as an adjunct clinical professor at UAMS Northwest. In her academic role, she led efforts in residency recruitment, education, and community outreach—especially through programs that supported Northwest Arkansas’ Marshallese community.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Powers has shown a longstanding dedication to service. She has volunteered with Camp Sunshine, a program for pediatric burn survivors, and Special Olympics Arkansas for nearly two decades.
Dr. Powers is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Women’s Association, and the American Medical Association.
At Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic, Dr. Powers provides comprehensive adult primary care with a focus on preventive medicine, diabetes education, and chronic disease management.

With a deep commitment to compassionate and evidence-based medicine, Dr. Massary provides personalized care for individuals and families across all stages of life. She emphasizes continuity of care, mutual trust, and shared decision-making with her patients. Her clinical interests include managing complex medical needs, supporting mental health, and promoting women’s health and preventive care.
“Establishing long-term relationships with my patients and helping them make informed choices about their health is one of the most rewarding parts of family medicine,” said Dr. Massary.
Dr. Massary previously practiced in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and brings years of experience to her new role. In addition to her medical practice, she served as a Guardian ad Litem, advocating for the well-being of children in foster care.
She completed her residency at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she was honored to serve as Chief Resident. She earned her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Medical University and her undergraduate degree from The University of Akron, graduating magna cum laude.

Dr. Blanton brings extensive training in breast imaging and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. She specializes in the interpretation of screening and diagnostic imaging, including mammography, breast MRI, and ultrasound, as well as performing image-guided breast biopsies.

Dr. Blanton completed both her Breast Imaging Fellowship and Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she served as Chief Resident. During her residency, she held several leadership roles, including serving on the House Staff Peer Review Committee, as Women in Radiology Resident Coordinator, and as Social Media Coordinator for Diagnostic Radiology.
A graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Dr. Blanton also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Oklahoma State University. As an undergraduate, she founded The Little Red Heart Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides support to pediatric transplant patients and their families.
Her professional affiliations include the Society of Breast Imaging, the American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America. Dr. Blanton has received several honors for her service and leadership, including the Dr. Leonie Gordon Diversity and Gender Equity Award, the Miss Kansas Cares Quality of Life Service Award, and the OSU Student Philanthropist Award.
Dr. Blanton is now caring for patients at The Breast Center and is proud to serve the women of Northwest Arkansas with expert, compassionate care.
Dr. Burger joins a large pulmonary medicine department at Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic including Edward Jackson, MD; Allen Moseley, MD; Lindsey Barnes, MD; Nathan Tobey, MD; Jennifer Hood, DO; Akash Patel, MD, and Ryan James, MD.
Dr. Burger provides expert care for a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including asthma, COPD, emphysema, pneumonia, and lung cancer. He is passionate about delivering advanced, patient-centered care and is particularly skilled in using innovative technologies such as robotic-assisted procedures for early lung cancer diagnosis.
A native of small-town Arkansas, Dr. Burger is deeply committed to improving access to high-quality pulmonary care across the state. He treats both adult and pediatric patients, with a special interest in pediatric asthma and complex respiratory conditions.
In addition to his work in the clinic, Dr. Burger provides inpatient care at Washington Regional Medical Center and serves as a consulting pulmonologist. He is also an active member of the Center for Chest Care, a multidisciplinary group dedicated to comprehensive lung cancer care.
Dr. Burger earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), where he also completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He previously served on the Intensive Care Committee at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the UAMS Admissions Committee.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. James specializes in minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat complex lung conditions, often helping patients avoid surgery, reduce recovery time, and lower risk. He uses advanced techniques such as robotic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), and pleuroscopy to provide precise and timely diagnoses. Dr. James works closely with a multidisciplinary team—including radiologists, surgeons, and oncologists—to ensure patients receive the most coordinated and comprehensive care available.
In addition to seeing patients at Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic, Dr. James provides inpatient care at Washington Regional Medical Center, serves as a consulting pulmonologist, and is an active member of the Center for Chest Care, a team dedicated to early detection and treatment of lung cancer.

Before joining FDC, Dr. James served as a clinical instructor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and cared for veterans at Central Arkansas Veterans Hospital. He completed his medical degree, residency, and fellowships in pulmonary, critical care, and interventional pulmonology at UAMS, where he was named Chief Fellow in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine.
