Home Health Network Develops Telehealth Obstetrics Program
The Baptist Health Home Health Network has partnered with the Baptist Health Women's Center to develop a Telehealth obstetrics program to observe high-risk patients from their homes.

This is the first Telehealth program of its kind and features a monitoring unit specifically designed to provide assessments and in-home care for women whose pregnancy is complicated by medical conditions that warrant close observation. The patient receives individual attention and education during weekly visits by OB nurses and the Telehealth monitor is placed in the home at no additional charge.

The Telehealth monitor allows data to be sent through the patient's phone line to an electronic chart where the data is recorded and then reviewed daily by a nurse trained in high-risk pregnancy.
