UAMS Chancellor I. Dodd Wilson, MD, was recently honored with a surprise party at UAMS.

Wilson has been now been at UAMS for 20 years, with the first 14 years as Dean of the College of Medicine.

Wilson thought he was going to be giving his annual state of the campus address, but instead Dr. Dick Wheeler, who served as emcee, took over and the event quickly became more of a roast. Dr. B. Allen Sugg, the President of the University of Arkansas system, also spoke and he noted Wilson's use of his hands during presentations and speaking engagements.
