Parson Named Chief Quality Officer

Stephanie Parson, MSN, RN, CAPA

Fort Smith - Stephanie Parson, MSN, RN, CAPA, was recently named Chief Quality Officer of Sparks Health System.

In this role, Parson oversees quality initiatives and patient safety for Sparks Regional Medical Center and its staff. She most recently served as Quality Department Manager where she was given oversight of the Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke and Congestive Heart Failure programs at Sparks.

Parson holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University, and is currently pursuing a Post-Master's Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Morningside College. She's been with Sparks since 2001 where she worked as a nurse in the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
