Arkansas Children's Hospital Named One of America's Best Hospitals

In the July issue of U.S. News and World Report, Arkansas Children's Hospital is recognized for its reputation in pediatrics. This is the second consecutive year Arkansas Children's has been ranked among the top 25 hospitals in America for pediatric care.

"We have one focus and that focus is on our patients and their families," said Jonathan Bates, MD, President and CEO of Arkansas Children's Hospital. "We are certainly honored to be recognized for our efforts and know they are important in making a difference in public health." For the past 17 years, U.S. News has ranked America's hospitals in an effort to identify medical centers that address and excel in offering treatment for the most serious, and often rare, conditions and diseases. Many of the institutions are referral centers, treating critically ill patients with advanced care. A total of 5,189 hospitals were evaluated, with only 176 scoring high enough to be ranked in any specialty.
